Heather Ferguson awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Heather Ferguson, first year graduate student in the Electrical Engineering program, has been awarded a prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship to pursue her research at the University of Michigan.
Ferguson earned her undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from Murray State University and will continue her studies at Michigan in Optical Sciences.
The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in the U.S. and abroad.
